This Week’s Divrei Torah

Bereshit · A New Beginning
Parshat Bereshit begins with Hashem creating the entire world. Hashem could have created everything at once, but instead He chose to create the world step by step, day by day. This teaches us an important lesson about our own lives: real growth happens one step at a time. We don’t need to become perfect overnight. Each day gives us a new opportunity to improve our Torah, tefillah, middot, and connection with Hashem. Even when we make mistakes or don’t accomplish everything we hoped to, Bereshit reminds us that we can always begin again. As we start the Torah from the beginning, we should remember that every new beginning is another opportunity to grow, improve, and become closer to Hashem.
